Scientific rationale

Through a theoretical and practical approach, the course will deepen the use of the main echocardiographic methods (two-dimensional, three-dimensional, Doppler flow and tissue and speckle tracking) or applied to them (artificial intelligence). Topics relating to the evaluation of the synth-diastolic function of the left ventricle and right ventricle, the function of the native valves and those undergoing prosthetic repair or replacement, intracardial masses, pericardium, transplanted heart, ventricular care devices and cardiac reserve will be discussed. The updated guidelines and scientific evidence to support the use of echocardiography in cardiological rehabilitation will also be addressed.
