Scientific rationale

This meeting focuses on the "complex" management of operable lung cancer, i.e. those stages of disease defined as initial and locally advanced where surgery finds indication, both up-front and after neoadjuvant therapy.
The morning of the congress is entirely dedicated to general medical doctors with reports on various topics, ranging from diagnosis to surgical treatment of lung cancer. The afternoon programme includes symposia on specific topics such as screening, staging (EBUS-TBNA) and a symposium specifically dedicated to nurses.
The aim of this event is not only to update participants on the latest advances and innovations, but also to bring together professionals directly involved in the treatment of lung cancer in order to strengthen existing collaborations and create new ones.
