Scientific rationale

The course aims to offer a structured and multidisciplinary update on the latest diagnostic and therapeutic developments in Alzheimer’s disease and cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), with particular attention to the central role of neuroimaging in patient selection, in monitoring the effects of new therapies with monoclonal antibodies and in the management of complications, including ARIA.

Through frontal lessons and interactive discussion moments, the route provides participants with an updated picture of eligibility criteria, imaging protocols (RM and nuclear medicine) and major CAA diagnostic markers.
