Scientific rationale

The training proposal, developed with a 2-hour FAD course, aimed at Health Professionals (Biologist, Dietist, Physiotherapist, Nurse, Obstetrician, Psychologist-Psychology and Psychotherapy, Neurophysiopathic Technician) has been formulated to provide in-depth and up-to-date knowledge on various aspects of headaches, in particular chronic forms: diagnostic criteria of primary and secondary headaches and indications on symptomatic and prophylaxis drug therapies with focus on migraine, cluster headache and tension headache, headache for high use of symptomatics. Specialists and other health professionals presented reports on multidisciplinary views: neurologist, psychologist, physiotherapist, nutritionist, nurse. The strength of the course to achieve the objectives was the multidisciplinaryity and 360 degree treatment of chronic headache issues.
