Scientific rationale

Meningiomas represent the most frequent primitive malignancies of the Central Nervous System therefore the knowledge of the correct diagnosis and management of this pathology affects not only ultra-specialists. The latest classification of tumors of the Central Nervous System (CNS5) has also introduced important novelties in the molecular field that have modified the diagnostic-therapeutic algorithm of this disease. Finally, we believe that there is a real need to characterize meningiomas from a biomolecular point of view for a personalized treatment.
