Scientific rationale

The course aims to transfer theoretical and practical content on the relevance of sleep study and its disorders in neurological pathologies. The focus of this course is to provide a constant update on the evaluation, implications and management of sleep disorders in different neurological diseases, with particular regard to insomnia, sleep apnea and behavioural motor manifestations in sleep in neurodegenerative diseases. During the course will alternate theoretical moments, with interventions aimed at deepening the individual sleep disorders and practical, through the presentation of shared experiences in clinical practice and vision and interpretation of polysomnographic video tracks in patients with sleep disorders in neurological, internalistic and psychiatric diseases.
