Scientific rationale

The event aims to provide an update on the latest scientific evidence regarding the patient's diagnostic-therapeutic path with NSCLC, deepening the role of different specialist figures in diagnosis, staging, anatomical and molecular characterization, treatment and perioperative management. The themes of personalization of care, integration between the different therapeutic options and the importance of multidisciplinary comparison in the definition of welfare paths will also be addressed.

Particular attention will also be paid to the centrality of the patient, the continuity of care between the hospital and the territory, the involvement of the General Medicine Doctor, the psychological support and the role of patient associations, with the aim of promoting an increasingly integrated and oriented care model for the needs of the person.
